COUNSELING
Counseling on Access to Lethal Means (CALM) is a training that aims to help those in mental health, medical, and human services professionals to counsel individuals and their families to temporarily reduce access to firearms and dangerous medications during times of heightened suicide risk.
CONVERSATIONS
Conversations on Access to Lethal Means (CALM Conversations) is intended for a general audience and requires no prior training in mental health or suicide prevention to attend and covers basic facts about suicide, common risk factors and warning signs, and the importance of means safety in keeping at-risk individuals safe.
